Grizzl-E is made by United Chargers, a Canadian company that launched in 2020 with a straightforward goal: build a reliable, CSA-certified residential charger that holds up in Canadian conditions and sells at an accessible price.
The result is a die-cast aluminum enclosure with an IP67 rating, meaning it's fully sealed against dust and temporary water immersion. It's hard to find a more rugged residential charger at the same price point, and it's designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +50°C.
The lineup has evolved since 2024 with the Classic Connect, which replaces the original Classic and adds Wi-Fi connectivity and the Grizzl-E Connect app for scheduling and consumption tracking. The Duo model lets two vehicles charge simultaneously on a single circuit through built-in power sharing.
For installations that don't need smart features, Grizzl-E is a proven, straightforward option. For those who want the connected features, the Classic Connect now delivers them without compromise.
